Coode It is believed by several researchers that the Coody family came from the Coode family of Maryland. Documentation or some 'proof' of this is being sought. Hopefully a current DNA project will provide some insight

We continue to research the CHEROKEE database for new and/or additional individuals / families and information relating to those in our extensive database. While most of the data we currently have is 'historical', we continually seek information on descendants of those to be included to current times.
